We are all scientists in Room 14!
5th grade is a big year for science, as students will be tested on their science knowledge at the end of the year. (For more information about the California Science Test, please click HERE.)
All 5th graders at Community will participate in science rotation three days per week -- physical science with Brandon, life science with Dani, and earth science with me -- in addition to technology with Mauricio!
In Room 14, we will also conduct our own scientific explorations, including Mystery Science inquirys and STEM challenges. In addition, I plan lots of science integration in other areas of the curriculum, such as Language Arts and Art.
Science is all around us at Community!
